Dr. Cogley is a trusted veterinarian who has been practicing Veterinary Medicine for over 31 years.
He has earned a Doctorate Degree in Veterinary Medicine, as well as a PHD in Parasitology, and a Masters Degree in Entomology which is the study of parasitic worms and insects.

  • Nearly 20 international publications on the parasite of the horse known as the bot fly. Papers on the biology, life cycle, eggs, behavior and pathology as well as the taxonomy   

    Animals that Dr. Cogley has taken care of at his practice:  

  • Dogs, cats, horses, goats, pigs, chickens, turkeys, parrots, raccoons, finches, prairie dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, mice, snakes , lizards, finches, conures, lemurs, skunks, ferrets, turtles, cows, bulls, llamas, alpaca, sugar gliders, hedge hogs and even more. If it walks, crawls or even if it will fly we will treat it or at least give it a try.
Kat Baker

Kat Baker is a Certified Veterinary Technician who has been working with animals all her life. She has an A.A. in psychology and received her A.S. in Veterinary Technology in 2009 from St. Petersburg College. Kat has 18 years experience with reptiles and 16 years experience with horses. She has a special interest in exotic animal medicine as well as laboratory animal medicine. Kat is a native Floridian who shares her home with Spike a pot bellied pig, Grim a Bombay/Maine Coon mix, and an ever fluctuating number of reptiles. Hobbies include reading, writing, reptile education, wildlife conservation, history and movies.
